There are some known problems with this update if you have real old back level nVidia device drivers installed. Microsoft is scheduled to release an updated version of this fix's install program (not the fix itself) on the 25th on the Windows Update site to handle those cases. It also effects loss of the ability to display your address book in Outlook. The "fix" will include a few more Registry entries that were left out.

One solution, is to remove the fix if you can and install updated nVidia display adapter drivers. Then install the KB912812 fix again.
