Maybe you don't understand, or has it been more than 5 days since the install? Where are you at now? Windows auto backs up the registry once a day at bootup. You don't export a registry file to backup the registry. That's not the same thing. You can backup the registry manually anytime, to make an extra backup before making any changes. Goto Start/Run then type SCANREGW (upper or lower case) and hit enter. Answer, Yes, if you get a message.
