Actually my post was in answer to Bob Wells, but thats
fine, no problem...
I am getting lost now. I really can't understand if
the Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer in Security Bulletin MS06-013
(912812) was successful why it is not listed in both Add/Remove Programs
and under Help-
About Internet Explorer at the top of an Internet Explorer Window....as it is
in mine...
"my father-in-law check the add/remove software to see if an uninstall of KB912812
was there, he said 'no.' I had him check the installation history to see if it was
succesful, he said it was listed"
Possibly you are not on the same page with your
father-in-law??? There is no uninstall per se in the
Add/Remove to look for---you have to look for Internet Explorer Q912812 and
highlight it
to activate the Add/Remove button...
as for the installation history, I have seen it list installs
erroneously...
