dual boot problem Monday, May 1, 2006 at 1:29 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by marlon (153 messages posted) i have a dual boot windows,,(98 on c: and xp on d: )..everything was fine...until one time when the audio driver have been conflict,,,i uninstalled the audio driver,,,but when booting up..it says that ntldr is missing.....so the option for the dual boot did'nt come up...i tried to replace that missing file by slaving it to other computer and paste the ntldr file to c of my dual boot drive..but when i turn it back to my computer...an error occured saying invalid boot.ini file...then hal.dll is missing...so i have no option....i tried to boot to my winse startup disk,,i reinstalled the win98 w/o formatting...then later..it boot to win98,, my problem was...how can i put back the dual boot on my system...i explore the hardisk and on d: drive ..it has the winxp system...but ' can;t load it.. anybody can help me...... thanks ........
