Win98/MySpace IM Installation Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 2:04 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Rodney (18 messages posted) I can get the MySpace IM to run on my XP and Win2k machines, but my Win98 machine gets about 98% through the install, and then tosses an error message on the screen. Error 1406. Could not write value DefaultFeature to key UNKNOWN\Features\E7F5A797F2ADF64459FA09A6B2D2DE2E. I've tried both the old and new versions of MySpace IM. Same error code, just a different string with each one. Anyone have any ideas?
