Hi,

If I have a Quebec (French) version of 98, would a normal 98 boot disk still allow
me to install?

I have a freshly reformatted c: drive which had an english version of 98 on it...

when I get to the dos prompt from the boot disk, and try to run either d:\install
or d:\setup\setup.exe I either get a "cannot run in DOS mode error" for the first,
and setup.exe attempts to run win setup.exe, which obviously gives me a "bad command
or file name"

any ideas?
