It would be good if you would read what appears on your screen
--especially if it is in a big red box.

was: Question about 'Getting Network Neighborhood to recognize newly attached
computers'
The Subject line of the ancient thread you hijacked
is completely inappropriate to your post.

I'm hearing you say that your computer vendor
didn't give you the one you are entitled to.
|When I try to add my Printer, it asks for my CD.

A device driver is on the disk that came with your printer.
It is probably better than the ancient one on the Windoze install CD.
If you don't have a disk, download the Win98 device driver for your printer model
at the printer manufacturer's Web site.
|I was told it is in my computer already.

Assuming you mean the Windoze install CD:
From the root directory (C:\)
Find; Files and Folders; Named: WIN98_74.CAB
It may say something like
In Folder
C:\WINDOWS\OPTIONS\CABS
The folder it names is where your install CD was copied.
If it says **There are no items to show...**,
your computer vendor completely ripped you off
and at some point you will likely have to buy a Windows install CD.
