It sounds like it could be conneted to a web page. If you select File/Save As in
IE and give it a name. Goto that filename in Explorer and you will see a sub folder
of the same name. This folder stores all the pictures this web pages uses. If you
delete all these pictures and open the page you've saved you will see boxes with
the red X in saying the name of the picture.
