To re-size a window, you move the cursor to the edge of that window.
A double-ended arrow will appear.
You left-click to grab the edge and drag it to the size you want
then release the button.
Very carefully, move your cursor to the bottom of your screen
and see if that double-ended arrow appears
(one point will be off-screen and won't be visible).
Grab the edge of the Taskbar and pull it up onto the screen.
