Carol: Thanks for the response. I did find Microsoft Windows Critical Update in the Add/Remove programs and removed it. Not sure what you meant by looking for Wuauboot and Wucrtupd. I found a wucrtupd.lgc using the find command but I left it alone. Thanks again, maybe this will resolve this little annoyance.
