This is a bit oblique to W98, but someone may have a clue?
W98SE loaded the driver for a USB ADSL modem but attempts to access the internet
give a message " No dialing tone".
The house phone is fine.
One comment was that hard wired security systems can cause this.
Any ideas?
Sounds more of a dialup, non-broadband, message to me, but maybe this is how W98SE
copes?
