.On a Windows 98 computer?
|[...]linked to missing export kernel32.dll:GetSystemDefaultUILanguage
|
Again: When you ran it before, was that under XP??
http://www.google.com/search?q=DOS-based+NT-based.means
|"[...]A device attached to the system is not functioning"
|
"device" == hardware
"not functioning" == device driver is borked
|I get the same error when I try to run sfc.exe.
|
Meaning that SFC won't run at all?
Scanned for infections lately?
|I also already replaced the comdlg32.dll files with no help
|
Uh huh.
|and uninstalled the software that started the problem.
|
...and are still seeing error messages--or what?.
I'm still thinking "infection".
