They had winMe on it but was getting the error message Sys.ini is corrupted or missing. when they tried to boot it from a floppy they got Disk I/O error Replace disk and press any key to continue..... They said that some guy tried to fix it but couldn't and ended up formatting the hard disk. When I boot it up now it goes to the Windows 98 Dos prompt. And the only file on it is COMMAND.COM. It has a 30 GB hard drive and 512MB RAM. I'm looking to install XP Professional. what's the best way of doing it.
