What I did a long time ago when I downloaded SP1 which downloads to a temp folder on the HD. This took about 50 minutes with dialup. I burnt the folder to a CD which cuts down on the installation time. It still needs a temporary internet connection for one or two files but it installs in a couple of minutes.
