"To me running SFC is a waste of time, why. Because when I do a fresh install and run SFC it always comes up with Setupx.dll is corrupt."

Okay, I never get that error message and SFC takes less time -- a lot less -- than a reinstallation. If you know that a file is not corrupt you simply tell SFC to accept that copy as correct in any subsequent session.
