flickering prompt Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at 7:10 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by leigh (1 messages posted) At start up on my Dad's computer that was "given to him" it reads ms dos start in plug and play but at the flickering prompt it will not let me enter anything. I have disconnected cabales and modems but nothing will make it go past this flickering prompt. I know a little about computers but my Dad knows even less. Someone please respond because he is housebound and really just getting into this.
