Not to me. She said she can't enter any text. That sounds like a bad keyboard.
$6 is the price at any one of my local thrift shops and that would be cheap to test.
Of course a $3.50 battery would be harder to test, being a screwdriver job, but it
could probably use a fresh battery anyway.
