Hi, I have a knackered old compaq presario 1200 laptop with windows 98SE installed. I recently bought a micradigital 802.11g wirless cardbus adapter. I installed the wirless adapter software and plug it in. Everything looks fine - I have a lovely strong connection to my router. However when I open up internet explorer 5 I can't seem to get onto the internet. I have tried fiddling with the connection settings in IE5 but can't seem to get it to understand that there's a wireless adapter for it to connect through. My network config is: - client for microsoft networks - wireless cardbus adapter - tcp/ip - file and printer sharing Anyone have any advice for me? Thanks in advance ;)
