What do you normally use to open mp3's?
I normally use Windows Media Player or sometimes WinAmp when I install it.
I'm not sure what RegSearch does but the sounds of its name it searches the registry.
Well you can do that easy enough, just Run: regedit and press Ctrl+F for a
search. If you can't find blank.exe which I some how think you won't then open Explorer.
Click View\Folder Options then the File Types tab. Press M and scroll down
to MP3 and highlight it press the Edit button. Select the Open dialog and the Edit
button to see what file is supposed to open it. If you can't find this file on your
HD then go back to File Types. Highlight the MP3 again and press the Delete button.
Do you have WMP or WinAmp installed? Do a search for *.mp3 on your HD and if it finds
a file double-click on it and you will see the Open With... dialog from the
list select WMP or WinAmp or what ever file you normally use to open an mp3. If you
want an mp3 to be opened with this application everytime then put a check in the
Always use this program to open this file checkbox.
