Bob,
No reason to put off your upgrade because others have problems. The poster could
have been having problems before the upgrade. Win98SE has more Drivers than Win98,
so there is a better than even chance you'll have few driver issues unless you have
installed much newer devices.
I would reccommend backing up all your data files then do a clean install of Win98
followed by the upgrade to SE.
Post back in a new thread if you have problems, but check out the link below for
some good suggestions on your project.
