Well, Bob, I haven't had time to do anything about it yet, but plan to this weekend.
Your suggestion seems to be what I'm doing already. Not being an ingrate, here!
:) Perhaps, since my 'puter has been in use and has had many many changes/edits
of the registry, there's something in there that's been overlooked. Can anyone recommend
a good registry editor/troubleshooter? (As in; cheap or FREE) I'm familiar with
tweaking it, but identifying trouble items is a drain. For instance Quick Time somehow
came back from the dead and installed itself again! Oh well, maybe I'll be back
Monday... :)
Oh, as to monitor drivers; I bought a used monitor, the Magnavox, whose driver I
can't even find on the free drivers site.
