SOS,

The Driver file is located at c:\nividia\win9x\81.98.
It appears that GForce has its own Control Panel applet contained in the Display
Properties, accessable by right-clicking the desktop, not the Windows Control Panel.
There are approx 19 .CPL files in Win98SE.

Right click MyComputer, click on properties, click device Manager. If there is a
yellow exclamation mark on Display Adapter, right click on the adapter and select
properties.

You may get info on the problem by exploring all the properties tabs. Sometimes there
are suggestions for resolving the problem.

If not, remove the display adapter by selecting "Remove" from the menu that pops
up when you right click on the GForce Display adapter. Shut down and restart the
Computer. This will force windows to redetect the display adapter and reinstall the
software.

The Nvidia Forum suggested NOT allowing windows to automatically install the driver,
rather doing it manually by telling Windows the location of the driver you want to
use. You'll need to write down this location exactly to make sure you enter the correct
path, or be able to find it by Browsing to the location. c:\nividia\win9x\81.98

Also write down the location of any new Downloaded driver you may want to use.

If this does not work, Post your problem at this forum.
