Start > Settings > Control Panel > Sounds
A bug in this annoying applet is that after selecting sounds you'd think that clicking
Okay would save your choices as it closed. I mean, after all, a Windows pane
says Cancel or Exit if it intends to close without changing anything.
But this applet doesn't save your settings unless you click Apply.
I have never used theme changer software so maybe someone else will step in and make
a recommendation from experience.
