You can't adjust the volume from Desktop or Control Panel. You can open Control Panel
- Multimedia and Show volume control on taskbar. If you double click on the icon
that should bring up Sndvol32.exe. So if you double click on C:\Windows\Sndvol32.exe
nothing happens?

Does your system play or make any sounds at all?

Are you sound drivers up to date?

Do your speakers work?

How long have you had this problem?
