dual boot with 1GB ram Friday, June 29, 2007 at 6:00 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by the ber (69 messages posted) i have an athlon xp2500+. it's been running fine with 512 MB ram, with windows 98 and windows 2000 in dual-boot. i just installed 512 MB more ram, and now windows 98 will not boot. i understand that windows 98 will not work with too much ram. can i somehow trick windows 98 and tell it to see only 512 MB of ram, so that i can still use both systems? (i could live without windows 98, but my children want it for some older games.)
