Hi Jim.
It might be a good thing to check in the BIOS to see if it has an onboard soundcard
and disable it.
Is the installation of a CD?
You might be better of removing the soundcard. Startup the computer, install the
software, shut it down. Insert the soundcard back in and start it up again. You may
then see a message found new hardware and it should setup the drivers accordingly.
When you say the Drivers won't load, do you get any error messages saying
why?
