re: partially installed sw Monday, July 16, 2007 at 10:39 am Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Mohit (6 messages posted) hey, well actually there is a prob then too.What actually happened was,I tried installin mcafee and got an error and setup didnt even start.Then by mistake i clicked on the mcafee update installation file.It proceeded a little and then gave an error coz mcafee was not installed.the prob of blue screen started after this.so i think the only possible cause of the blue screen is the update file which was installed a little.unfortunately,update files dont hv remove option.any other ideas?
