1) Plug your device into an XP box to make sure it isn't defective.
2) Make sure USB is enabled in CMOS on your 98 box.
3) Remove anything under *USB* in Device Manager.
4) Plug the device into your 98 box.
5) Unzip Nathan Lineback's (toastytech.com) device driver.
6) Install the driver.
