The Fatal OE error could be almost anything.. many possibilities. It could be memory related, for one thing. Memory may be bad, or just need reseating, for example. Firefox is a memory hungry browser, as I'm sure you know. At least temporarily, until you get the problem sorted, download/install and use Opera. You can import FF bookmarks.
