Hi. I have an annoying problem with my work PC. When i start up, the PC runs fairly fast and good. I then notice that it slows down. I discovered that this will always happen when i get a "user" on my machine. I go to shutdown and i get a message "There are 1 user(s) connected to your computer. Shutting down your computer will disconnect them. Do you want to continue". What i want to know is...is there a way to tell who or what that user (or sometimes up to 3 users) is? I don't have my PC set up as shared on the network. I do have a printer connected to my PC that others on the network use. I tried disconnecting the USB cable to the printer but my PC still had a user connected (ie, trying to find who or what the user is).
