Hi kike.

The easiest way is to buy a flash drive but make sure its compatible with Win98.
Are both desktop and laptop Win98?

If its only the CD that doesn't work then there shouldn't be a problem. You need
to install some drivers so it recognises the flash drive, you will have to transfer
them using the floppy drive.

Other than that you buy a data cable and connect both computers together and transfer
the files that way. I think you will like the flash drives they are one of the best
inventions for computers, and they are cheap.
