If you are going to use a 9-year-old operating sysyem,
you need to read the packaging BEFORE you buy things
and MAKE SURE it supports **your** OS.
Why give your $$ to companies that treat you like a bastard step-child?

|It worked [OK?] with my PC-WindowsXP,
|but I need a [device] driver for my Windows98SE (PC #2).

I'm not sure where you got "pilot driver" from, but that is a colorful new term.

As Keith said, *generic* or *universal* USB device drivers exist.
Maximus Decim's is actually not the best one.

Nathan Lineback's is even better:

Keith's report that these do not work 100% of the time
is the **only** such report I have ever heard.
My 4GB unit works perfectly, as do all my lesser units.
