My 4GB unit works perfectly, as do all my lesser units. I know we've talked about this before gewg but just for Tobie's sake I will repeat it. As I've said I have 6 USB flash drives. 3 Kingston and 3 PQI. The 3 Kingston need different drivers installed for each one, so they can be used. The 3 PQI are the same so they only need one driver installed. When I first read your report on downloading universal drivers I downloaded them to try them out. I uninstall all my drivers. I searched the registry to remove any evidence that was left behind. I installed the universal drivers did a restart and plugged my drives back. And none of them were recognised. I did a check to see what files these universal drivers had installed and nothing came up. So to me why don't work for my drives. I put my original drivers back in and all drives are recognised again.
