Uninstalled ACDSee, now I cannot open pictures

When I try to open up a picture I get a message: "Windows cannot find ACDSEE.EXE This program is needed for opening files of type ACDsee JPG Image. Location of ACDSEE.EXE C: _____". What do I do to make it like before I had ACDsee? Acdsee ruined my computer and obviously it did not really "uninstall" !!!!
