I bought my first Olympus 2 MP digital camera in April 2002. It's in my car glovebox, still in use. I also have a Panasonic 5 MP - 6x optical zoom and a Canon 8 MP - 12x optical zoom (PowerShot, not an SLR).

I have 21.3 GB of pictures from those 3 cameras.

How many times have I connected a camera to a computer?

NEVER!!! NOT EVEN ONCE!!!

When I bought the Olympus, I bought a Dazzle SmartMedia USB card reader along with it.

I don't know right off hand if my Canon 'supports' Win98SE, but it doesn't matter.....

Athlon 1.1 - 768 MB RAM = 98SE & XP Home

Athlon 3000+ 64 - 1024 MB RAM = 98SE (@768 MB RAM) & XP Pro

IBM ThinkPad PIII 933 - 384 MB RAM = 98SE & XP Pro SP2

Windows 2000 Server in the basement
