Hi Jim.
How long have you only been able to use Safe Mode?
If its less than 5 days then I would try a Scanreg /restore.
As the computer is starting up hold down the Ctrl key until you see the DOS menu.
Choose Command Prompt Only and type in Scanreg /restore and choose
a date before this problem occured.
Have you installed/changed something then this error occured?
