missing file windows\system\shlwapi.dll Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 3:58 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by chris (1 messages posted) please help,after running a scan and repair via registry mechanic my laptop ,win 98se,failed to start,missing dll, windows\system\shlwapi.dll,reinstall windows,i have tried safe mode and reg restore,both leading to same message,also tried to extract file ,receive message invalid key,in the past i have been able to click undo on registry mechanic when file problems arose,although without being able to get to desktop,say no more,any ideas,greatly apreciated.
