Thanx for your replies, but *nix is not an option in this case nor is hard core security
an issue. We are trying to teach kids typing and some basic computer skills and need
an MS environment. I just need to stop them from hosing the environment they're supposed
to be learning.
I know it's possible, my previous employer used W98 systems for time clocks and had
it tamper proof.
