So, I didn't use my computer for those 2 months. When I get my monitor it works fine , I plug in my ethernet cable and try getting onto the internet and it doesn't work. I went to Add/Remove hardware or something and believe I removed the ethernet thing. I have either a Conexant adapter or SMC one. There are presently no replies to this message.
