What do you mean when you say, "the Startup Disk won't do anything"? When using the Startup Disk do you hear the computer booting? If so, at what point does it stop? I do not recommend reinstalling Win98 unless you have the correct Device Drivers to reinstall. It would be helpful if you post the exact error messages and give more details .
