Iexplore error window will not go away

I cannot get the Iexplore error window to close, it says it has performed an illegal
operation and must close and there is a button for CLOSE and a button for DETAILS,
but it will not close. I have even shut down my computer for several minutes but
when I turn it on again, the message box is still on my screen...How do I get rid
of it? What caused it?
I clicked on details and this is what it says:
