I recently built a computer using an Abit N8V motherboard, 1 GB of mem. and two HDs. I have divided it into three partitions and installed XP, Linux and 98 SE. The 98 offered to load in safe or normal mode. When I attempt to start normally I receive the following message: "insufficient memory to initialize Windows. Quit one or more memory resident porgrams or remove unecessary utilities from Config.sys or Autoexec.bat" I can start in safe mode but can't find either of the files. I'm new to all this and can't figure out how to solve the problem . Can anyone please help? I sure would appreciate it. Thanks
