As I originally stated the (1) CD-Rom works in true DOS but can't be accessed in Windows. I cannot do a fresh install of an operating system because that would lead to loss of programs and some data. I have managed to recover some of the data on the bad drive and will have to attempt to reconstruct the rest. Most files and data are relatively easy to recover except for Mozilla. Even Netscape was easy to recover from a crashed system.
