Hi Don, Thanks for the quick response You are quite correct - the disc is in NTFS
- I took it out and connected it to a USB/IDE converter and confirmed this From
further research it seems that my problem is changing a motherboard with Win 2000
in that it needs the correct IDE drivers/chipset for the new board and the "old"
installation does not contain these It seems the "best" solution is to reinstall
2000 but I'm trying to find a way to avoid this if possible by using a start-up disk
and manually loading the correct drivers... Thanks again
