USB Ram conflict Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 7:27 pm Windows 98 Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Bryan (129 messages posted) I attempted to install more RAM in my pc another pc133 256 MB to make a total of 512 mb. The RAM posts successfully but then when it trys to load windows I get a black screen that says "Windows Pr_" and that is it. I can get into Safe Mode but then my USB mouse does not work. I went into the bios and disabled USB and Windows 98 loaded normally without issues. In device manager I don't see any conflicts. How can I trouble shoot this issue further???
