Having problem with computer running Windows 98 shutting off and rebooting at random. Especially this happens when trying to upload files using FTP. But other times the computer runs fine and I can upload large files with no problem. I've had a problem in the past where shortly after the computer booted up it would turn off for no reason and reboot. This seemed to go away after I ran defrag regularly. I think it is a physical memory problem, since after I ran one of the Compag diagnostic tools it said I only had about 157 K of physical memory when I should of had about 640. The "mem" command in MSDos says memory is OK and the hard drive has lots of free space. Any idea what is going on?
