When the Annoyances folks help ID my problem, I usually fade, as it should be.
I wasn't going to use up more space here, but I sort of had to..... Not only got
a lovely kudo but also have another hint
for others who are feeling not-very-semi-computer-literate, but want to figure things
out. I have found that plugging a specific "error message" or "file name" into
Google can be an amazing thing. Lets you know whether it is a probem or not, what
kinds of programs it may be associated with, and at least roughly what it does. And
with some damaged or missing files, can lead you to how to download them, easily
and free. Leads to discussions of how others have been advised about problems with
the same error messages, file glitches, etc.

And to Keith, pshaw 'lucky'. You saved me worlds of time and frustration. Thanks.

I'm done now........ Hopefully for at least a couple of years.

Linda S.
