thank you for your help but i still can't get the display button off of 16 and make it stay with color 256. i have change the drive to svga 800 by 600. do i need to try all of the drive that has svga until one works? i even search to see if there were any yellow or red signals but there weren't any. i am so frustrated. is there any other solutions? thanks
