there was a missing "COMMAND.COM" file. I copied the filed using a Windows 98 bootdisk
I downloaded from the internet. Now I get another error and it looks like this:
The following file is missing or corrupted: C:\WINDOWS\HIMEN.SYS
There is an error in your CONFIG.SYS file on line 6
The following file is missing or corrupted: C:\CDROM\OAKCDROM.SYS
There is an error in your CONFIG.SYS file on line 7
The following file is missing or corrupted: C:\WINDOWS\HIMEN.SYS
The following file is missing or corrupted: C:\WINDOWS\DBLBUFF.SYS
The following file is missing or corrupted: C:\WINDOWS\IFSHLP.SYS
C:\>REM [Home Series]
Cannot find WIN.COM, unable to continue loading windows
I tried to copy the WIN.COM file from the same bootdisk, but apparently the file
is not on the bootdisk. What do I do? Please help! Thanks.
