That's not what "copied" means in this context.
"Copy" means all the **files** on the original have been duplicated.
|So if it was bootable before it should be bootable afterwards.

No. If you want an exact image of the original, you have to *ask* for that.
A simple "COPY" will not duplicate the boot sector of the CD.
(Unix comes with a utility for this stuff; it's called "dd" (Disk Dump).)
